Gradually working my way through these superb sets from Mark's Sunday Sessions for the non-FB Luddites. In no particular order yet as my 'filing system' is a little haphazard when full of Guinness on a Sunday evening ... Another load will go up in the week , got a little sidetracked with the "45s On-liner" last night ...

Glad you posted this Karl , I nearly typed exactly the same thing but couldn't bring myself to mention the abysmal cover band ...

So the ex-Kenny Burrell copy has just been sold via JM to Lee Jeffries for an undisclosed ( but apparently record breaking ) sum. I doubt it reached more than the alleged sum that Jack White payed for the test press but who knows apart from the parties involved.

Can't recall offhand but I think it's uncredited on the labels. @Manfromsoul45s will be able to fill in the details I hope ...

So it turns out the FW went to Lee Jeffries for an undisclosed sum (albeit a new record sum apparently)

It's Alan Kitchener's (and Butch's) "Chuck Jackson" acetate ... One's a 10" and one a 7" as I recall , can't remember who has which one ( not that intimate with either chap ... lol ) but Alan had the first one . Absolute dancefloor mayhem and a tune I'd drive a thousand miles to dance to ... luckily my favourite dark red basement's not that far away ...

Another great night in the company of the "45s" gang over on FB last night ...
