  1. 2 x Prestatyn wristbands for sale, at £25 each. PM for details.
  2. Either an issue or promo (12" version). Please pm me condition and price.
  3. Not yet, I've had a few offers and I will reply to each PM tomorrow thanks.
  4. Email me if you have one to sell.
  5. Gilly, good to see you at the weekend (we like the coat by the way). I see this has now been cleared up, when you mentioned it to me, I thought you may have found a one-off.
  6. Pat Bleasedale played it last Sunday, at Feed Your Soul.
  7. During my home refurb I've misplaced one box of 45s. Hopefully nothing worse than misplaced... Lots of great records in it but the main one I need ASAP is the Don Gardner, so I'll buy again. Please PM price and condition, must be a VG+ all day, or better. The readies are waiting, cheers.
  8. The first time I heard this was in March, when Butch played it in Redemption at Prestatyn. I remember thinking, "this is the best record I've ever heard."
  9. Soreted now thanks. The Four Dynamics ‎– Things That A Lady Ain't Supposed To Do (Grapevine) PM with condition & price please. Cheers.
  10. I'd like to hear that please, if you've still got it?
  11. It's an Americanism which has creeped in, for a tune/event that's good https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=banger A similar thing has occurred with craft beer (US) and real ale (UK). Real ale is often now called craft beer by people in Britain, even though the two terms don't necessarily both apply to the same product.
  12. We're there, 4-7th April so will just miss the next one, which is disappointing, looking at that list. Could anybody recommend an Amsterdam venue that plays soul music which we could visit during these dates please?
  13. I paid £3, 2 years ago, for Robert John, "Raindrops Love and sunshine" with a clean break, right through the vinyl, stretching around 1/3 of the diameter. I carefully flattened it on the edge of my kitchen worktop, applied my palm to it quite heavily, then sellotaped the non-play side. It now sounds like a clean, unbroken NM c.£35 copy. Effecting this kind of repair is always going to be a high risk, as there's no way of knowing in advance about the peculiarities of a break and how it's going to turn out. So IMO this pricing is insanity.
  14. Thanks but I've still not found it. By way of a thank you to all of you who've put the time and effort in to helping me, I'm going to list all of the records that I recall hearing in the smaller rooms at the Prestatyn weekender. I'll add them by way of an edit to the event review I've already posted. Hopefully there'll be some that you don't know / be pleased to be reminded of. I'll be listing over 100 so it should at least be an interesting read for a few minutes.
  15. Not the one but again, great to listen to after a long time no hear. Thanks.
  16. Neither of those two, but they were great listening! Cheers.
  17. I'm trying to identify a record, '60s, male vocal, sounded a little like Billy Stewart. The record included the line "Watch out before..." or very similar, at the beginning of the chorus. The tempo and production reminded me of Pat & the Blenders, "Just because" I heard it played in the Queen Vic at Prestatyn. Any help would be appreciated thanks.
  18. I'll second that. As soon as I saw this thread appear, I realised that it was going to become a rich seam containing records that I didn't know.
  19. Excellent, one or two of Sam's set was also played in Prestatyn in March 16.
  20. The Tempests - "Someday" That was some vocal by Hazel Martin.
  21. What a great piece of news just before going to sleep. 'Just Brothers' is one of those supreme, unsurpassable records and the thought of being able to buy a copy and learn more about it...this is a huge event.
  22. The Barons Of Soul ‎– "You Need Love" (7", Grapevine 2000 , UK, 2005) VG+ or better please, please PM me with price and condition. Cheers, Will
  23. Sold now, thanks.
