It was the 12th December 1970. Dave sent me a postcard dated 9th December stating this. Both sides of my postcard are printed in Rob McKeever's book ' Whitworth Street, Manchester. I still have it , so could do scans if required.

First cover ups I know about were done by Dave Godin. Via John Bollen ( and maybe Frannie O 'Brien) he sent up North, Ad libs nothing worse than being alone and Joy Lovejoy In Orbit. Played in Halifax at the Vic Lounge by Graham Slater and myself at Lord Jim's in Huddersfield. Happy days.

Hi I ordered the Ches Haynes and Creators bundle on 26th May for July release. I've not heard or received any news from Cannonball regarding delivery. I did email them 2 weeks ago but not had a reply. Has anyone else ordered these and have you received them or any information about delivery? TIA Julian

First the good news, this is an original UK from 60s. Vinyl is in VG+ with a few marks. Bit of crackling on the run in and between tracks. The music overwhelms any other crackles. Good old UK vinyl. Last time I saw Colin DJ was at Teddington with Ian Levine. Ian was choosing the records and handing them to Colin to play!!! No axe to grind here. I've known Colin from the Torch days and first met Ian at the Twisted Wheel.
