  1. It is basically the same just not as punchy,both songs have the same writers.

I agree i also think the picture of the stock copy is fabricated,the promo that sold on J.Manships auction recentley went very cheap.However i have always thought it a bit lacklustre with regards to the sax break,to me it is one of the worst i have ever heard and personaly i think Joe Murphy has got more about it.

  5. I was given this programme by my partners uncle who worked at the Isle Of White Festival in 1970,he said they were amazing.Who would have thought 3 years later they would have released one of the scenes greatest classics.

  11. The two Yvonne Vernee Sonbert releases were in 65 so i guess sonny would have left after those.
  12. I thought Sonny Sanders left GW to join Robert Bateman at Correc-tone and form Sonbert records.

  14. I always wondered why Al Gardner is so much more scarce on sepia than the other two releases on that label.

  18. I have just been listening to The Charmaines-Standing in the need of love which has Van McCoy on lead,both his voice and Chris Jacksons sound remarkably similar.

  21. I didn't word it properly,i am aware of the acetate and have heard it on the net,what i meant to say is that several people over the years had claimed to have seen vinyl copies of the 444 release.
  22. I have always questioned it's authenticity,i remember several years ago reading that Dave and Chris Jackson had fallen out.Is that correct?
