She returned them a few weeks later At 80 plus she is still performing all over Europe,. all signed in Large font with a Gold marker " Best Wishes Johnny ,Love Madeline B"! I Thanked her Sheepishly ,, having worked with eveyone from Led Zeppelin to Mc Cartney and Elton she is still one Fiesty lady. Hi Dave , A great Question but for me very difficult to answer. Motown Yesteryear / Collectables was a kosher series by motown to get another bite of the sales Cherry! "Stoned Love" being the most known alternate take ,but ,without playing it and all the others the lable times would not help,as 2.49 not 4,05 (on long version ) is stated on the lable. The "Little Darling"is a different take ,with No strings at the behest of EMI uk who preferred a more "earthy " version, but again .Us 45s come with strings and other european takes,, its pot luck. If you lose ,change ,have your phone stolen and enter your new phone number for text verification you will find it impossible to verify access to your own monies etc I eventually got my pay pal account back after 2 lifetimes and physical verification to their so called "Help Centre"?? Same applies to use of credit/ debit cards if your Bank info is not up to date when visa etc check your bank details via text message to your phone , large purchases will be Declined. Just received Stax sevens 45singles Boxset from Germany, Two of the 7 have pronounced storage warps 3 mill lift across total surface from horizontal, NAP but make you seasick watching the deck ,the rest show slight signs of the beginnings of warp. Issued in 2013 by universal these are unopened, sealed and are old store stock which has sat for 8 years in a massive dealer warehouse . Warping is caused by excessive heat and pressure on PVC, the discs are otherwise mint unplayed and at 70 euros I am very happy. My point ,(At Last ) is ? How many, especially sevens boxed sets Motowns , (sealed sets, Now making up to 500 pounds) could be suffering the heat and compression effect (Like a British Rail sandwich?) Please no British Vinyl "Bake Of" remedies, tried with deadly results on 2 Aussie Stateside 45s years ago! Cheers ,LOL. John , Malaga ,Spain.
