Came across a reminder of a tune from years ago which got me thinking and I apologise if this has been covered before (please direct me) I can' find anything about this group and I started to wonder if they were pre-Harthon and need your help please The writer was Carl Lanfield (Harthon connection) and the Producer Preston Chapman (Harthon connection) I did wonder if they were connected to The United Four, but I am normally always wrong I have done The Discogs stuff

Johnathan Capree ~ Gonna Build Me A Mountain ~ Ox Bow
You probably know that "unofficial" releases on Discogs, quite correctly, are never supposed to be associated with the "original" label, which makes sense, but can cause search problems unless people spot on the master release the unofficial section on the right hand side of all the listings. Question is however is yours a boot or real ? and I don't know (I will ask the submitters what makes the listing a bootleg on Discogs and see if we get a clear and precise answer)

Johnathan Capree ~ Gonna Build Me A Mountain ~ Ox Bow
According to Discogs it was booted with same track on both sides (if the listing is correct) and of course it may have had a double same side release, legit Big City was the B side of the quoted original on the site

The Significants - I'm Loving Too Hard - some info
I never did know anything about this group and apologise if it has been covered before (please direct em if I missed it) I looked at who and where and "think" I have found 2 of the members (or at least writers) Elder Edward M. Nesbitt Jr. of St. Jude Great Commission Church in St Petersburg, Florida, is married to Jo Ann Nesbitt (Oct 1972) Here is the info, I have asked them on facebook but to no avail (some people as we know don't wish to discuss) https://www.churchfinder.com/churches/fl/st-petersburg/st-jude-great-commission-church/edward-m-nesbitt-jr https://www.gigsalad.com/jo_ann_nesbitt_st_petersburg

Record thefts whilst djing
This thread is completely fascinating, as it almost could imply that DJ's need to take re-issues out with them (for the fear of pilfering) and just play cheap copies, so no one would even consider pinching any.......how ironic with the OVO venues. Glad I am out of it to be honest and I only see it getting worse as prices increase. It's also very sad knowing the passion of collecting, for those who have experienced it, it must be the similar to a house break in, utterly devastating

Tommy Dent Soul Thing On Cobblestone
Of course these makes me think of the almost impossible task of trying to find out who he was ? What we know is that he was probably New York based at the time. I did wonder at one stage if he was Tom Dent the Author/ Civli Rights from New Orleans, but he left New York in 1965 and there is no mention of him singing https://faulknersociety.org/tom-dent-author/
