Actually Nev the link from you in post #7 is not quite referring to posts of "PM'd you". Whilst PM'd you does "bump" the ad to top of Soul Market page I allow it because of what MarkW said re informing sellers who may not look at PMs. Get a few complaints about that along lines of PM'd but seller/buyer not read. Your link is more to do with unwanted comments such as appearing to have a couple of 45s available that actually aren't available. Those as you may have noticed I remove. ROD

I've said before that if you respond to a want and don't get a reply within 7 days then leave a negative in feedback. Anyone commenting on here done that ? I don't know if this is widespread or the same few members but we won't know unless members use feedback. ROD

It's obvious that this has upset a lot of members. Should any of the members who contacted him to buy 7th Ave 45 wish to leave a negative then I feel that is justified. Similarly any member who contacted him and has not received a reply as yet re other 45s can leave a negative too. He was on earlier today so I'm assuming he ought to have replied by now, particularly to any member who has actually paid for the 45. As for changing from set sale to auction whilst I agree it's not in keeping with the spirit of the site, unfortunately it is not against site rules. My fault, in that I didn't think there was a need for such a rule as most sellers stick to the terms of the ad and don't change them just because an item receives more than one enquiry to buy. I'll be emending rules tomorrow. I'm actually hoping that Warren will have read the posts on here and reconsidered his position on the auction. ROD

No I don't remember telling you that Rick but I did go there with Mark Edmund in 1980 and it could be that I did notice that and told you but have forgotten since. What I do remember is arriving with Mark [who knew him better than I did] and chatting generally in front room. Then a knock on the door. He came back with two "heavies" and looking agitated. I just thought they looked like the "mob". He ushered us downstairs to large basement and remained upstairs with them for quite a while. Once he rejoined us, him and Mark went off out of my sight whilst I looked. I could hear them and picked up on a lot of snuffling and snorting. I was familiar obviously with speed but had not come across cocaine use up until then. From talking to Mark afterward, I concluded he was into coke and maybe owed the guys who turned up. So maybe he did have security that I've now forgotten about. I did hear he disappeared for a while some time after. ROD
