In a nutshell..... Record with the artist hand stamped on rather than printed on the label... Poorly distributed non seller.. All found at the same time or maybe 2 different hits as it wouldnt have travelled very far... Distributed among the dealers... As you do...cheap but obscure record..... 20 years has passed in that time tho and its been at least 15 years since it was ' available in any quantity'.. All in collections it seems now.. No wonder its gone up.. Does come up now and again but well indemand... Not sure if i can justify a £900 price tag tho

I dont remember these lps as a kid .. Where as the MFP... Hallmark or avenue budget albums were in abundence in the papershop or chemist racks... Not saying they are rare.. But much limited numbers to the other budget lps

any number of archie bell tracks on atlantic.... all the 45s have legs in them and all cheap as chips

and thruout the 90s into 2000s was only a staggering £4 or £5..... these were such common records (great as they are).... cant get my head round why it should be 2 figures now to be fair

i just think its more enhanced stereo version than the earlier orange release and sounds the same take to me..the rare orangey red issue could be a different take never had one to compare
