  11. was little richie, ted ford and valentines played at the torch...........just askin
  12. really pete....... that label design doesnt tie in with seventy seven release label at that time..they were black and had reverted to sound stage seven logo again..eddie billups shake off is on both designs from 1972 but that label was used up to 1974.when it changed to the blue sound logo.....do you think they could have been pressed in 1974 maybe... is the vinyl different to the yellow release?..there were new releases on sound ( ann sexton youre losing me brief encounter human) lee fields etc as well as northern reissues1974/75..mind you little richie and the valentines breakaway are on the multi coloured 77 as well as sound plus.was it pressed up with them....would love to get to the bottom of it
  13. good price on the ann heywood
  14. thats what i mean,,,,its always been there as far as i know and the mulicolured copies were done around 72. were they done for northern consumption or is it just a common 45,,,,must have been a near new release when first spun

  20. i got a 45 the other week in a moerer style bullet proof box. but when i opened the box the record was just pushed into the box and crushed with screwed up pages of a usa glossy magazine and no stiffeners. the mint unplayed store stock 45 that was in the box arrived cracked................but it wasnt done in transit
  21. and laura`s version is original version........only on the issue and doesnt crop up much these days......didnt stop me sellin it last year tho had dells like about 6 times and i`m not a dealer.. still got this four tops 7in.....its ok i spoze you can get laura on a 12 hope its not as bad a four tops 12
  22. theres 2 copies on ebay one is the same as the music stack copy and another in france for £70.....but they are not selling... both dutch issues..is there anything on the lp that could be played out thats where any demand could come from. the miracles split in 1978 and thats probably why the lp never surfaced.... the single `mean machine` was a small soul hit in 78 though ( no55) strange how it crept out in holland ...i think its been issued on cd also cant find any info on a mexico copy
  23. 0ne on music stack for £38....rare as it maybe what tracks are on it is there any demand outside of a hardened smokey/miracles collector....this copy is dutch
