the label is slightly darker on the original servicemen as well as the different colour text dave

think my copy is aussie sss international. will have to check the info when i get home...van may have done some vocals himself..certainly recordings from 68/69 with the same sort of material thats on the soul improvisations album from 1970 on buddah with the same vocalist.....as stated the sss lp wasnt issued til 76 dave

the 7in says 1977 on it.. the pink one is the promo but pink issues are also in circulation maybe they are the first issues....there were loads of multicoloureds around late 80s/early 90`s but these tend go for more money not sure as to why....a £30 record imo dave
