it is lou stanley selling it as well and he has a decent reputation.but as far as i`m concerned a crack is where you can `part` the vinyl. surely a vinyl fault as in a lot of styrene 45`s cannot be misconstrude as a crack

its a good price that for a copy that ticks and pops all the way thru and jumps once. buy perhaps im being a little hard on it. i thought it was a £300 record but ive just looked at popsike and it looks like im out by£150/200
a great record tho and not one i ever tire of
dave
i did come a cropper. sent funds to craig moerer last night for a 45 i bought off gemm. i had to pay a small fee of 20 odd cents for a £20 record. it was one i was after tho not in any of the books and not on ebay so i`m not too fussed.

delegation, circa 1976/77 were also of similar ilk to the real thing/ realistics at that time. ken gold micky deane productions. both delegation and realistics recorded someone oughta write a song (uk state /uk epic.) they must have had the same manager as well.

can u not make pound sterling your choice of payment tho.im sure it gives you the option ....... just a thought. since i discoverered the gift option ive sent a lot of paypal payments and never encounted a problem. might be something to do with having funds in paypal account and being linked to a verified bank account. not 100% certain tho. ive got to make a payment tonight in usa dollars........lets see if i come a cropper

it came out twice as well. i have a 1st issue promo thats edited to about 3.30. the second issue issue where its a b side is about 4.40. the lp/12in version is over 6 minutes long. i was having a conversation about this only yesterday with a mate who`s on here and he said he`d sold a 7in for £100 and i was gobsmacked. i think its £25 tops for either 7in and cheaper for the 12in
dave
i sold a blue issue without the amy mala on here for £30 recently.probably was a bargain for someone. there is a thread in the sharp end of vinyl section detailing the ins and outs of this 45 on here
hope this helps
dave
no the flipside is` aint gonna gry no more`. not timi yuro but a self penned tune. its bloody good as well.nice dancer.so you need a dutch copy as well as daves acetate for doin things
dave
ah but johns just dropped on this one.it real and cost him not a lot.although u are right chalks only £500 to £700 on ebay.it has turned up a few times
dave
it is a good record ted. we had the grey promo with the boys face on but sold or traded it years ago. might be time to reactivate it in the classics rooms. might be a good idea to keep it for a bit and play it ted coz rarity wise ive only seen 1 0r 2. its a dead 45 at the moment tho
dave
yeh.im not disputing beverley`s voice. but her material has been pretty poor. jocelyn brown has one of the best voices ever. somebody elses guy was immaculate.but again its down to material............................ i mean she did a record with right said fred. i suppose it pays the bills. she resides over here now doesn`t she
dave
ive seen it in the past ted.it is very rare but its not a very indemand 45. wouldnt ave thought you get manny`s price for it but to a white demo collector u never know
atb for 2010
dave
one of her biggest hits in the states.it was the follow up to midnight train to georgia in 1973. it made no 4 on the pop charts so it was like cornelious brothers too late to turn back now one of the biggest selling northern soul 45`s. great record tho
dave
i know its been done to death on here but there were never any `original`frederick hymes to boot from. all were pressed in 1999 and there on after
dave
but the vinyl is right. its not 80`s vinyl at all.everything else looks ok with it. and besides if it was done in mid eighties thats 25 years ago and people cant keep there mouths shut for that long. the rumour would have surfaced long before now
