  2. where does "the original drifters" "just let your heart be your guide" fit in. issued in 1978 on red sounds south. looks the same as the tams. who are they is there a yellow copy dave

  4. if it got booted on yellow boss it must be very rare coz i aint ever seen it. usually reversed labels but some labels the right way round ive even had a proper labeled copy with a demo stamp and a date on it. wish i`d kept it. wrote mi name in the run out on the flip wonder who has it now dave
  5. hi all sebastian, stardom,& prophonics i think are all correct on this matter. i ve had the four voices for years and always saw the odd green original . suddenly in 1997, bearing in mind that the green one was £400 by this time is when the gold ones popped up. they were all over the place and they were £150 and i`d never seen one b4. i think that when they were made although they are from the original plates complete with nashville stamp. but its on 90s plastic with computer type font.. the green typeface one must be brand new as ive not seen one yet dave

  7. must be worth £40+ on a white demo. have seen the issue sell for that a couple of times recently dealer price of course. could well be cheaper on ebay dave

  15. i take it that the folks on here who dont like lulus northern offerings wont like pop records like shane martin. lynne randell, dana valery etc. coz they are 100% northern, 100% pop and 0% soul but it dont make em bad records altho i do prefer towana type sounds meself dave
  16. thats not an alternate white demo. its a white issue. It also came out on a black issue and a pink issue here in th uk. all with push out 4 prong centers. the demo has a full center. thats 4 original uk variations. Not bad for a rare record is it dave

  18. yes puzzling that one int it. the j`s has always been in my play box and ive only ever played it once. that was a couple of years ago in the modern room at the earl of doncaster. i personally have not heard it played out since. but then again i aint heard sammy gaha out for years dave

  20. hi pete didnt think it had been booted on canadian right on. still very rare and the only reason i think its not more money is because its out of fashion at the moment. my mate recently bought one off soul sam for £150 and you`d probably get one cheaper on ebay dave
  21. dean parrish bricks broken bottles and sticks musicor white is harder than black eartha kitt there comes a time black harder than white also all the platters are nice on white demos IMVHO ofcourse dave
  22. there was an orange one on ebay recently.it sold for $280 very in demand these days and dosent crop up too often dave

  25. my mate sold a mint bell issue for £1900 last year. rarer than southern artists by quite a bit in 2008 dave
