The New 'kent Select' 45 By Darrow Fletcher Out Now
So this is the 3rd version that popped up on acetate on ebay about 18 months ago? Grey & Hanks must have really touted this around at the time are there any more versions knocking around? Must be from the Atlantic/Atco sessions knowing that the others are from 1978ish

Paranoid Usa Dealer
One US seller I dealt with wouldn't do a combined postage for 2 recortds I bought. I accepted his postage costs but disagreed with him not combining postage. I told him that for the price I paid, I would expect it express delivery and signed for. It came express delivery and give or take a couple of dollars it was the postage he requested. You might have to bite the bullet and pay the postage and if the postage cost is more than a couple of dollars less than the stamp, put in a claim for over charging postage.

Yum Yums Stocker Up For Grabs
There are many many reasons why these issues are rare and have been discussed in the rare demo or rare issues threads. Contract or distribution problems, artists dying or leaving the group. A lot of southern soul records suffered from terrible promotion and distribution issues.

Yum Yums Stocker Up For Grabs
A strong VG one sold on ebay last year for just under $3k, so wouldnt be surprised if it smashes through that considering the condition. As people have said, it sure does look pretty

Rare Groove / 2 Step Thread
Further to Gareth's post.  The 2 step scene eveolved fro what was then known as a "blues Party". Where someone would open up their house of flat to people.  A sound system would be hired such as Touch of class and they'd sell alcohol and these parties could go on all weekend.  I remember paying £2.50 for a can or Red-stripe in the mid 80's.  These blues parties were more reggea focussed.  The 2 step sound systems still followed the reggea shound system rules where you had a DJ and an MC working in harmony and sound systems not only failed or florished on what they played but also the quality and interaction of the MC with the crown and the DJ
