All the Robert Goddard books are good if you like a good plot! Also I like some John Grisham books, "The Partner" being one of my favorites.

IS IT REAL?
With A.I. there is potential for changing records for the better (or for the worse depending on your point of view). Some records have catchy instrument breaks that could be repeated more in the track and others have vocals that would be better left out or another chorus could be added! Bad recordings could be made perfect fidelity for instance. There is a place in Esther Grant "Lets Get The Most Out Of Our Love" where I think why didn't they do that bit again later in the record! Or Billy Woods "Let Me Make You Happy" which I love, could have some more lyrics and chorus towards the end. Easy to make instrumentals of anything. Replace a poor vocal with Ray Pollards voice etc!

Ernest Mosley on ebay
Somebody must have scratched in the arp stamp to try and fool potential buyers? From what I can see it looks neatly done!

Garland Green - Girl I Love You / Forty Days & Nights -

There is a slight ripple in the vinyl but both sides play great and sound wonderful. £150 plus £8.15 Special Delivery. Paypal f&f or bank transfer. All my sales are returnable if not happy. Buyer pays for return postage. Northern Soul does not get much better than these tracks!

Amplifier Advice
I bought a Technics SU-VX 500. This has the all important mono/stereo button. 1960's records and those early stereo recordings sound better with the mono button on. Someone on here will say it's not true mono, but it works! Why they don't fit Mono/Stereo buttons to ANY new amps is very frustrating! It would not take a lot to do it!

Barbara Lewis. Sold
"I Remember The Feeling" side is Ex condition with a small chip out of the centre hole. This does not affect the record in any way. The record plays great. Recorded delivery included. SOLD. Original first USA issue of this wonderful Northern Soul classic! It doesn't get much better than this !

Check Yourself - Temptations - Miracle £30

New to me
Really, as you say, you're lucky not to know a lot of the great records as you can get the pleasure of hearing them for the first time! Listening to the Hy-Tones can only make you bigger and better!😉 This is a great positive post👍 So much better than the negative comments about records some people want to make! Do you buy records? Have you got a record player? When I hear something I really like I want it on the original vinyl! I feel it's the only way to do it justice.

Butch
C/U are necessary because if just one more DJ can get a copy it means it isn't an exclusive anymore. That means the original dj has a slightly less desirable record to play. Plus it could also be bootlegged by the new finder!

John Vincent Top 15 1983
I really liked John Vincent's dj sets. Always interesting. Big sounds, mixed with new unknown to me records at that time. He played things no one else was playing.
