Harlem Meat Company ( Cash ) Yellow
Ah! I thought it supposed to be a faster version of the orange one. Wonder what other interesting stuff is on this label? Bob A told me he'd spoken with someone to do with it (a family member maybe) in investigating and they weren't too keen on the whole idea.

Major Rarities For Sale / Ij Harris / Eddie Daniels
Hi got these two rare stormers for sale - TAKING OFFERS ON EDDIE DANIELS UNTIL MONDAY 6pm: IJ HARRIS - ALL READY TO GO - CASH Mega mega rare 70’s funky Chicago soul stormer with horns and wah wah licks to die for. Sweet soul belter on the flip, this is the achingly obscure Cash label’s hardest no. Only in the hands of a select few (Butch, Soul Sam, Nev Griffiths, etc) I personally only know of around 5 copies. Still under the radar to most, this copy is in EX condition. The sweet flip has a little touch of noise but nothing major. Full sound clips from sale copy provided. SOLD SOLD Had a good offer on this through a mate so now with drawn from sale. Eddie going to the end though. Thanks. https://www.divshare.com/download/26531329-c04 https://www.divshare.com/download/26531330-fd9 Offers please - - - - - - - - - - - EDDIE DANIELS - IS HE BETTER THAN ME - BOOTS Again, mega mega rare driving uptempo funky dancer that fills the floor. As played by Butch, Kitch, Andy Dyson. This copy is in EX condition. A lesser copy made £2.4k on ebay a few years ago. This is an extremely rare ORIGINAL copy, without the PB marking in the run out, and came via Butch. Instrumentals - Bovvered?
- Instrumentals - Bovvered?
Detroit Rhythm Section is amazing - all due to that bizarre breakdown. Roger Bank's famous Kinettes is another classic as well.- Instrumentals - Bovvered?
Three i've always really liked are Emanons 'Bird Walkin', only because the instro without vocal has a really creepy memorable slant to it, Zeke & The Soul Setters (William Cummings) which is great because the vocal is replaced by some wicked saxaphone by Zeke, and Hoop N John because the monster bassline in it works well in a big venue. Another cracker is Pisces Pace by Dave Hamilton....- Instrumentals - Bovvered?
I assume we're talking about northern backing tracks here as instrumentals are a huge part of black american music?? They're integral to R&B, funk and boogaloo aren't they?? Can't beat a good northern one when the instrumental version isn't simply the vocal removed but then replaced with another instrument etc. Having sad that Butch's Voicemasters acetate is one of the best ones i've heard in along time, better than the vocal version imho, just works so well as a groove to dance to.- Your Favourite 100 Club Single
Yes, old cockney for 'nudge and bracket'- Your Favourite 100 Club Single
Larry Banks & Jaibi - My Life Is No Better Wee Willie Walker - I Don't Want To Take A Chance The Waves (Tandells) - Is It Love Hytones San Franciscan TKO's All sublime....like some of the best soul records I've ever heard. First time i heard that Larry Banks I nearly fainted on Fudge and Nick Hackett.- Winston Flook Richards / Got To Have Love & Let Us Get Together / Trex
Hi - anyone with one of these Vg+ and upward please? Cheers, J- John Manship Auction Results 12 - 11 - 2014
Yes i've missed the majority of them as it's gone up in price - Spinologist had a copy on ebay with full sound file about 7 years ago and wanted it since then. Then when Andy started it playing it I knew i was going to struggle to get one. 100 % agree - brilliant r&s record and actually really really nice to dance to. Wish I'd bid on the JM one now. I like the other one by Andy Williams you see kicking about on the same label too.- John Manship Auction Results 12 - 11 - 2014
Texas Slim went for considerably more than that on ebay recently i thought? $1k wasn't it?- News: HOF: Ady Croasdell - Outstanding Contribution Inductee
- Frankie (Love Man) Crocker Value
£250 tops- Casuals / You Can't Leave Me Now / I'm So Glad / Glass City
Very rare lo-fi Ohio soul on the tiny Glass City label. One side sweet with a beat and the other rolling northern/crossover cut. VG++ still nice shine to the vinyl, few light marks but plays great both sides. Very rare Steve Green spin. £250- Chuck Wells, Jackey Beavers, Invitations, Norwood Long, Chandlers
Norwood Long - such a great record- Sweet Pearl - You Mean Everything To Me - Leopard Head
Fancy a copy of this now the hype has died down on it. VG+ upward if poss? Thankings! J - Instrumentals - Bovvered?
