  1. no need to thank me cyrus, the pleasures all mine, i'm not takin the piss, as you so elequantly put it, i'm just posting up a brief recap for anyone who may have got confused reading this thread....you started the thread as a gas man and now, two days later, you're a transexual, dj'ing ninja chef, who flogs a few records on the side.... it can get a bit confusing

jumbo records are still in leeds.....the carrier bags are still exactly the same
  7. bernard williams -needless to say / focused on you, is the record that always reminds me of pete, back in the 80's when rob marriot was playing it pete said he would get me a copy, next time i saw him he gave me a copy of the 2nd issue, he didnt want anything for it & got quite stroppy when i tried to get him to take any money for it, ive had many oppurtunities to get an original since, but i think i'll stick with the one that pete gave me smashing bloke, sadly missed
  8. couldnt give a shit who sells them, i just think the guy who is selling them on ebay is being a bit vague in his description of the record, dont like to see people being ripped off, be it a boot, legal reissue or whatever, its being sold by most dealers around the £10 - £15 mark
  9. so lets get this right....he's a gasman, who's going to japan to open a restaurant / record shop / discotheque.......

  20. wasnt aware that they were booting chart hits, much the same as pirate cd's nowdays i suppose.. regards amount of copies sold, i wouldnt know the exact amount i was just assuming it would have been a high figure, as it was a national hit in usa, both r & b & pop charts
  21. i put a copy of this on ebay last year & got £30 for it
  22. why would someone boot a multi million selling record ? im sure the record shops in pittsburgh would have been full of copies of this..it not only topped the r & b chart it also went high in the pop chart
