I Don't Have A Mind Of My Own - Bj Thomas
On the Scepter L.P 'Tomorrow Never Comes', 'I Don't Have A Mind Of My Own' is definitely a different cut than the 45 with added girls and horns, they chant "Dreaming, dreaming" between the lyrics too.

Unknown Uk 45 Or...?
I think it's the flip 'Storm Clouds' that's the more soulful/harder of the 2 sides.

Tony Hestor - Spaceland - Outtasite

Help To Identify 2 Motown 70's Tracks
Need some help from you guys. I have a Motown CD someone did for me ages ago, listening to it in the car today and I realised Imissed a couple of tracks off the sleeve listing. Both 70's and male vocals. The first may be called 'Where Are We Going' and the chorus goes.... "Tell me where are we going, what's the future showing, where are we heading...." The second track may be titled 'I Don't wanna Lose You' and starts off with the line "I don't wanna hear no trouble talk" then the chorus goes "I don't wanna lose you, gonna give you respect and I want to protect our love" Any ideas???

The Magic Touch
Not forgetting their original version of 'I Fought The Law'....absolute Garage classic!!! I believe when Bobby was murdered he was made to drink petrol, you can guess the rest.

Jackey Beavers On Grandland
Always rated that flip side H, another fine piece of Detroit magic. Price has shot up since I bought my copy from Soul Bowl for about £30

Are These Boots Rare
I actually do collect the good look-a-like boots when I can get hold of them. I do have the Del-Larks one which you have and I think I paid about £25 for it a good few years back now, just love the record but realised I'd never own an original so settled for that. On a similar subject, I also got hold of a nice Lenny Curtis on End (styrene, white demo)...now they don't turn up much do they?

Are These Boots Rare
Spot on Nige! The Tie 45 in your picture Patto is the same as the one I bought about 15 years back and that cost me £15 which was high money for a boot then. My mate got one with a stamped date on long after I got my (stampless) copy. Daz is right, anything upto about £80 although I once saw one on ebay go through the roof, £1,000+.....listed as an original no less but definitely one of these!!!

P.p Arnold Everything's Gonna Be All Right 1980 Issue
Didn't realise these 45's were part of a set? I got the 'Everything's Gonna Be...' on the 45 in your pic, on it's own, no gate fold cover, £20!!! Guy told me it was a scarce UK re-issue.

Charlie Rich - Midnight Blues
There's a Charlie Rich budget L.P on Hallmark that turns up regular called 'Those Midnight Blues'....obviously that's on it, so is the superb 'What's My Name?'...a great haunting mid-tempo tune.

Charlie Rich - Midnight Blues
Great piece of R&B, wasn't aware anyone knew it except me!

Tony Middleton On Stardust
Kenny Carter 'What's That On Your Finger' was on Stardust, would that be considered worth owt as it was never issued anywhere else?

Value Please
My demo is yellow, thought RCA-Victor demo's were white?

Knights And Arthur - Do You
I love it too Dani!!! Got a red stock copy, had to prise it out of my mates hand several years ago now. Always thought it would go big but it's still a bit of an unknown.

Yes, think so. red USA label, NOT the UK SOS boots that came out in the late 70's/early 80's

Is Crossover Always 60S
I was always under the impression that they are late 60's, northern but a bit slower? I'll get me coat.
