  8. i gotta say this is the first soul pack ive ever bought in this quantity, i dont know many of the tunes and theres some labels i never heard of,am well pleased to be honest, 300 tunes for 300 quid cant be bad
  9. i think u are correct there bud, if u can make out the writing on the pic of the 50 yrs of motown catalogue it defo states TO BE AUCTIONED, then i can see a date in red as 08,04,2009, and i agree with u thats its quite exciting ! thought john would have been on here to give us the lowdown on this

  11. i remember it fondly my old friend, all the walsall boys went there, didnt richard domar dj there one of the nights ? hard to believe it was 24 yrs ago !!the night pat brady was on was brill, had loads of his tunes covered up,gibbo,daz and jackie,woza edwards, thommo,pickle(RIP)rod,pete ball,bratty,micky and me(jason) all used to go there and to many more to type now, dancers and chin strokers alike were there, big thanks to u jack for starting this long running super soul nite

  13. i had my photo in black echoes after it was taken at the wheatsheaf, bloody famous i am ! think it was the night pat brady was on, they were brill nights, a lot of collectors went there
  14. lent mine to curly not long after it was recorded and never got it back ! think it was £12 to buy at the time, a lot of money for a young lad in the 80s

  20. whey heey ! that makes me a young soulie then at 41,i didnt have to get into all this wen i was 14 then, cldve started today and id still be a young un, cheers buddy, made me day !! not sure i believe the oldest is only 59 though
