  1. i'm pretty sure there's no connection. this group did have connections to the magnificents on dee gee and the disco group masheen co.
  2. yes it's the same label. there are a few more random releases on vick. bob lee owned it, along with jerhart, hawk, toi, big 3, sta-set, etc. there are apparently two different presses of the emeralds that look the same but are different versions.
  3. also, for what it's worth, the group members didn't say anything about a shrine connection, don't know if you were assuming something or not.
  4. i sent two packages express on friday, it does cost that much and that's the only "official" service that gives you tracking. I always thought priority international gives you tracking, and apparently you can track it via the customs number, but somehow they don't officially support it.
  5. what shrine connection?

some people had it buy-it-now on ebay for pretty cheap recently. if they're all gone I guess the price could go back up, but who knows.
  8. the garu group is totally unrelated. the detroit volumes had many excellent records but may all time favorite is "gotta give her love"

copies turned up of this in the last year or two, I would discount any popsike prices before then. If I was trying to sell one I think I would ask $150.
  10. I was trying to post a link to his youtube account, not embed a video, but the stupid automedia thing changed it. either way, if you go to his account it's there.
  11. he does on his youtube account: I think he took all the tracks from other people's youtube postings (they used to have other people's associated video) which is sort of funny
  12. also lucky davis has a record as lucky jamal davis. this record is clearly him.
  13. I took off the extra zero, was wondering where you got 100,000. It's not important. I pretty much agree with what you are saying above.
  14. where do you get this number? I doubt there are 100,000 "northern soul" records a DJ can play.
  15. that nobles 45 is pretty hard as a stock copy with both sides, as you have up

here is a link: https://www.acerecords.co.uk/content.php?page_id=59&release=7883 another awesome thing (for me) on the CD that is never explicitly mentioned is that there's totally an armenian soul group on it (higher feelings on kent). The photos and writing credits give it away...

volume 2 came out I think in 2009. There is a sick CD cover, a color photo of towanna and the total destruction dressed as a biker gang and riding choppers, it's awesome.

5002 was pressed twice actually, both copies read "the girl I need" but one of the pressings plays a different cut

it came out on jenges crediting the indelgents
  21. it's a lot of money for a flat piece of metal though. that guy has a nice looking oven btw.
  22. that isn't vinyl so it isn't acceptable for ovo venues
  23. I paid more for that CODs 15 years ago when I wasn't paying anything for 45s... some nice inexpensive tracks there
