  1. Am I allowed to post stuff that I haven't bought Barry? Another great memory v record for me - Gia Mateo. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=15SRftKNw6Q Mega memories.
  2. It's a nice record.
  3. Mm, well not exactly that word! And Pete - it would be easy to read my post as being negative, it wasn't. When I read Sean's post I said blimey too. It was a great compliment from Mr Hampsey. Peter
  4. I used exactly that word Bimey!
  5. Very quick off the mark Mr Rix
  6. You can fecking leave it as it is now - after all the hard work we've put in. Seriously, though it's an improvement - slicker etc. P
  7. That works too. Must be the black arts at work. LOL
  8. Yep, sorry mate. I didn't mean that. I was referring to the other reply. What I meant is that you cannot see the entire page of scans without scrolling down a bit - which as I said is because there are so many on a page. it isn't a problem and its better than having to load page after page with a few scans on each. Tis working Pete
  9. Yep, it's working Pete. You do have to scroll down to view each scan but it isn't a problem and I think you would need to anyhow with so many on a single page. I would rather that than have less on a page and have to keep loading. Looks good too!
  10. I haven't bought this and haven't got it. it's probably played out and cheesy - but from a memories point of view................. Bobby Paris I Walked Away. As a young kid, with plenty of quickness medicine down me this sounded great. Yeah, I'm starting to really get what you mean now Barry. Peter
  11. Looks like that copy has travelled back in time with yer mate - banging around in yer bag with yer talc and deodrant! Great record by the way. Peter
  12. Evening Mr Barry I was just about to ask you foran example and up popped Stanley! I reckon this is still a great record mate. Its the stood the test of time, still sounds good and is a great dance record. If I wasn't suffering from some horendous stomach bug I'd be carpet shuffling! Ah well, back to me Ovaltine. Peter
  13. Yep, we get that Pete. Just debating the merits of such a good record.
  14. I agree mate - it's a stunning piece of soul music. Towanda's version is a brilliant, raw, naked version - stunning in a different way. But, Sam is king. Peter
  15. Cheers mate. It's funny how our memory deceives us - I thought it sounded like Pat's voice with Dave's records. LOL Peter
  16. It's at about 56.40 - I think its Pat sounds like him and his set from back then. Haven't a clue about the version of Alfie Davidson but I think Im starting to remember it existed.
  17. That's a cracker Dave. Nice label too. Peter
  18. Mm, duplicates! With a memory like mine it's inevitable. You could be the anti duplicate Tsar Dave! Peter
  19. Thanks Mr Chalky! Bloody hell - forgot all about that Love Is Serious Business cover - I think. Who was that? Was it Dave playing that or Pat - yep it's Pat I think. Sorry, mate, so many questions! Cheers Peter
  20. Another one to stand the test of time - love this. The fantastic Tommy Tate - You Taught Me How to Love. Fantastic dance music. Another Soul Bowl buy. Peter
  21. Well he probably knows now if he comes on here. I'd tell him anyway - he's your mate you said.
  22. Yep, been a good thread this Gogger - think Dave is running a series. Lots of good music has been posted it, it's been positive and an education. It hasn't been poncy or elitist in anyway and I've felt comfortable posting a few bits up alongside the more obscure and quality stuff of others. Great stuff - well done everyone. Peter
  23. Malc should have just told him to fcuk off! I can understand how people get a bit row beaten with it all though. It's a shame - like many others I used to enjoy sharing stuff and having Malc around. Peter
