  1. I wouldn't know who was going out and buying it, but if we are name dropping ... Nige Brown came on stage when I played it, asking about it, 2003/4. That's it....
  2. Here we go, Phil I was playing it to huge audiences at Prestwich and other venues years before Burnley nighters started, The fact that you hadn't heard it is a mystery, but it was out there and very popular.
  3. I got behind it at Prestwich early 2000s, it worked well, very well, as it did at many places at the time.
  4. No mention from JM about the Tangeers being rarer on issue, I'm sure he would have used that if true. I've seen enough to suggest there's nothing in it, but last time I said this in a sales group all hell broke loose.
  5. I'd hardly say much rarer looking at popsike, much of a muchness. I've a feeling of deja vu here lol
  6. Who cares? You do your thing and let others do theirs. Never knew that there are dance rules,
  7. Vance, being a Manc you are clearly confusing Wiggin with God's country.
  8. Was a great day Graham sorry Yocky, hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. A great set, just right for Spitfire, thank you. Pete and Julie

  13. 1k max and that's pushing it for a minter Anyway has the OP asked for a valuation or a want?
  14. Is the image in the OP from before auction end? It suggests so
  15. Being from Bolton I remember va-va but wasn't old enough to attend, My lasting memory is while the venue was in the basement of a multi storey building the va-va sign was on the top of the building, where I presumed the all-night 'disco' was happening, Was yeara later, when attending one of it's various night club guises I realised it was in the basement and from the description of the va-va decor it hadn't changed much, As the article says, it's still there
  16. Only just picked up on this, awful news, will be sadly missed, such a lovely funny man, rest easy old friend x

  19. I didn't mean to infer it shouldn't be mid tempo at the end of a set... More it doesn't have to be, which I think someone suggested earlier in the thread, Me personally would prefer not to take any chances with a final record, god forbid the floor half empties and the next DJ instantly has em running to it lol
  20. Not read the whole thread, but why would a DJ feel the need to open their set playing a similar vibe to the previous DJ? Also I thought mid tempo 'enders' were for the end of the night? ... not the end of a set... unless you're last on
  21. Ike Strong - your love keeps me dancing - Mable, at least VG+ Please PM to deal Cheers
  22. I could be wrong and will happily be corrected if I am but; Isn't Mel Britt a recording from 1970?
