Described as being a "popular 60's club band" who recorded for Mercury - must be their real name and yes it is daft!

Can't help you there, mate but both issues have the same flip - "Heart breaker (child maker)". As far as I can see this track is the only James Kelly Duhon outing for Mainstream but there are two other singles on Jude.

Any Info Please
Jude is a Texan label, and the track also got a release on Mainstream, a New York label.

Pic & Bill Sr1 Any Ideas On Value
Should have guessed "Patsy" was an instrumental, and as you say probably the same with "Alpine Winter". I miscounted Charay 60, there are 9 issues : What would I do/What does it take (to keep a girl like you satisfied) Patsy/What would I do Patsy/The soul of a man Something's wrong with my baby/What would I do How many times/Funny how time slips away What would I do/Funny how time slips away How many times/I love you baby How many times/Patsy Together it's the end of time/Patsy Nightmare for "completists"

Pic & Bill Sr1 Any Ideas On Value
Sebastian, additions are in bold. There are others but I'm not sure I've got the will to fill them in!!!. Talk about confusing there are 10 Pic and Bill issues for no.60 four of which include "Patsy" and then you look back and see different versions by Orville Couch, Mitch and the Mistys and God knows how many versions there are of "Alpine winter". Strange indeed.

Pic & Bill Sr1 Any Ideas On Value
Sebastian, JM's 4th guide has "Talk about love" with the flip of "For the good times" listed at £150. No mention of the issue with "A man without a woman" as the flip.

Me too, Carl. Any input will be of considerable benefit to him and I personally believe that if the reasearch is done correctly the end product will have some chance of being an as accurate reflection of the scene as is possible.

Marvin And Tammi Remix
Spot on, as always Tone. There must be records that do merit a re-mix, but it seems almost sacrilige to try and mess with stuff from the heyday. Leave well alone would be my mantra.

Marvin And Tammi Remix
Just listened to Richard Searling on Smooth FM and he kicked off his "Cellar full of soul" hour with a re-mix of "Aint no mountain high enough" which he credited to Simon White. So a number of questions :- 1. Is the Simon White in question the former member of this site? 2. Should records of this standing be re-mixed? 3. If so, why? I can't say whether or not I liked or disliked it - it just didn't seem right. Any other views?
