Record Prices - The Truth
I suppose an auction would determine the price of that record but if you auctioned a second what would the price be, seems each record has its own value even though its large batch of originals. I have been looking at Pat Brady's auction today, he never sells a record short ever always over the top prices but for me this isn't making sense even JM and Ebay fall short some weeks and not every record is in vogue all the time.

Kings Go Forth On Ebay
I have been calculating that to make it to being an oldie (I have classed it as a 1969 tune so that gives me) 39 years to 2008 so + 39 = 2047 that will make most of us in our late 80ts and early 90ts and youthful James will be in his late Teens.

Kings Go Forth On Ebay
This isn't making sense, what if Joe Blogs travels 100 miles to get to your nearest do then surley the same implies for him as well./style_images/northern-p/folder_editor_images/rte-align-center.png So nobody else but James can play the record, its his record, makes sense. Good or bad DJ,s that time has forget must get out at some time to hear of the KGF and every little club has people travelling up to it.

Record Info
I knew the record very well before I ever heard it played on the Northern scene it was a bit like Zager & Evans In The Year 25 25 cold psychedelic pop https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhNM2K8cmU8, my dad like cricket & jazz on the radio but first thing in the morning radio 1 or Caroline was on and I am sure that's where the record was played. I remember when I first heard it played at Wigan and surprised that what I thought were chart records like that were being played.

Record Info

A Question Of Earnings
Hearing them out and getting a copy IMO are to very different things, you get 2 minuets to dance, listen, finish your drink and have a chat but when you get a record you have not had on a tape or CD then its a brand new learning curve, do you like it? getting to know the lyrics, the sound and yes after a while inside out.. My record box is full of Holy Grails I wonder if anybody has had every Northern record ever, JM is my first contender for that prize.

Wigan Oldies
Deadbeats Strata, John & The Weirdest spring to mind but these like Cecil Wash were newies back then suppose if you have just got into the music you see them as oh! yeah there's that oldie again what's new.

A Question Of Earnings
Hey Pete60 the guy is asking about funding the phenomenal prices of records as you see there are plenty of cheap offers to be picked up. I think it's a very personal question and not one to warrant an answer, we don't ask you what you spend your money on. What are you saying? What has this got to do with what I said before. Are you suggesting I was knocking the topic of this thread that's my opinion and my business what have you added to it.
