I`ve just returned my 3rd copy of this, every copy i`ve seen is the same, looks mint/vg++ but plays vg-,crackles and all.I can`t believe there all pressed like this, there must be copies that play well.I have other records on this label and they play fine although one of em looks battered but plays mint:ohmy: Be interested to see if yours play ok Ken.
  11. I didn`t know this,do you know how what order they were first pressed in?

  15. I`ve bought records off other members on here for many moons now and yes now and again you get a record not up to my standard.Has long has you pm the seller first and keep it in house, you should`t have a problem sorting it out.

  21. These are really good: What love has joined together-Dobby Dobson -Success. It`s a cover of Smokey Robinson but for me a better version. I wonder Why-W.King Cole. Awesome modern soul.
  22. Gotta say what a great double sider and on vinyl I feel your love changing is another top unreleased 70`s which is in same vein has if you want a love affiar in my view. Really starting to get into the unreleased 2yk mix:it`s time for love which i think is made for radio, checked out the cd version and for me the 7" mix is the one Hats off the chaps at Soul Junction for another top draw release.
  23. Great show Steve, looks like someone beat me to 2rd mystery track Gotta say Jesse James sounded good and a few others, sent ya a email

Have to agree with Sean on this;has someone who is pretty open minded to all black music: Staples Sisters is the best/much more soulful. I did think Arthur Miles did a decent version but best track on that lp was Helping hand. The one your all talking ,not for me. Was having this debate about cover versions with a mate Fri night, sometimes people like a certain version cos it was the first one they heard. Has a rule i`m not into cover versions but now and again one is better then original:Just you and me-Eramus Hall over J.r Bailey`s original.I`m sure there`s loads more
  25. I didn`t know there was another thread started has well
