  1. I've mentioned this elsewhere, but I have a 12-inch metal Sound Inc. acetate I found in Detroit that has both sides of Bernie Moore, both sides of Vivian Jones, and two sides by someone named Little Vance. Only other writing/info on the thing is the word Camaro.
  2. So then does it have dxm in the runout? (Sound Patterns.) If neither that nor GM, I'd need much more convincing that it's Detroit.
  3. Junior Mance STILL plays every Sunday at a French restaurant in the Village.
  4. Does it have GM in the runout?
  5. Flame N King on Raines, maybe?
  6. I have a red-and-white Bobby Wilson somewhere. Has that been mentioned? This thread is confusing.
  7. Thanks, gentlemen.
  8. Are both sides different mixes on the green?
  9. It's identical (but without the intro that's on the Precisions): other side too:
  10. Along those lines"Âand apologies for hijacking your thread"Âwhat about the Stemmons Express backing tracks being identical to the Precisions? How'd that happen?
  11. Ha, sorry, I just want to be able to play the thing. It's a great song and I want to hear it loud.
  12. That's the one. Now...anyone have one for sale?
  13. hmmm...a buddy of mine here in the u.s. played an isleys 45 that appeared to be u.k. and had a large blue or green A on the "my love is your love" side. b-side was another isleys song that was possibly lp-only, can't recall which one.
  14. anyone have an isleys "my love is your love" on uk 45? and does the temptations' "forever in my heart" exist on 45 at all as a boot or latter-day release? if so i need one. thanks, m
  15. No, Willie was a popular baseball player on the local team, the Tigers. This was his only appearance on a record, as far as I know.

  17. I've often felt that way about Sam Dees on SSS Intl.
  18. Skidy Woe (Savoy) unplayed beautiful M- copy $60 via paypal gift includes standard airmail shipping anywhere
  19. I'd had an acetate of this for years and never knew what it was and assumed it never came out. Was quite surprised to find it existed. I'd guessed right at the title ("The Bullet") but had been calling the artist the M.I.A.'s. Drum break on my acetate is much louder and better!
  20. That's SO not your sound, Nick...is it?!?
  21. Here's one missing from the discography. Same label, different look: https://collectorsfrenzy.com/Details.aspx?id=120873371156
  22. I'm not clear on what he intends to do with the tracks. I have met him and like him and would like to support him, though. Could you please explain this a little more clearly? If he's not making "tailor-made" versions of songs over the original backing tracks, why wouldn't a vocal version suffice for learning the material? Thanks, Matt
  23. I'll second that. Come on, let's shake some copies out of the woodwork. Cash waiting.
  24. All right, then...who has some info on Curtis King?
  25. Whipped copies surface around Detroit.
