Mp3 Tracks
Don't forget CDBaby. They now do most of their albums as downloads, and many single tracks too. Probably a better bet if you are more soul orientated than House/garage.

Info Of This Two Records
The Wee is from the LP "You can fly on my aeroplane" (1977 Owl) that normally sells for £300-£500. The track you mention "Try me" is also on a 45 (but this is slightly different to the LP version). Also believe that the LP has recently been re-issued as a CD (LP?) with both versions on it.

Rarity
As Stevie said, rarity in itself means nothing. I have a few one offs that are pretty worthless, since no one has heard them! However, other items such as Bobby Reed, Terry Callier aren't particulary rare in terms of numbers pressed, but because they are so sought after they command high prices. So when people talk about rare records, they often mean "sought after" rather than the true meaning of rare (ie. scarce).

Disturbing Trend
Quote - "So what are your thoughts? Would you sooner go out "For Free" and have more money to spend on drink? or sacrifice a couple of pints for a quality venue and a healthy DJ line up" Why does it have to be one or the other? There are lots of great and free soul events run by "quality" DJs. As a punter, price doesn't really come into it for me (as long as it's not OTT), but the entrance price doesn't necessarily reflect the quality of the event. Most of the best nights I've been to in the last year or so were free. Don't see why it is a worrying trend.

Unplayed Stock With A Sticky Residue
Yes - Many companies use(d) a mold release agent to extract the vinyl from it's pressing mould. If the record has been stored for a long time in certain conditions and never played, then this is almost certainly what has caused this "sticky residue" you talk about. A good clean will remove this no problem. I'm lucky enough to have a Loricraft cleaner for this; https://www.enjoythemusic.com/magazine/viewpoint/0903/aachapter48.htm *Note that a large percentage of 12"s (including new ones) have this agent used on them, and therefore these records should always be cleaned before they are played, even if brand new. Hope this was helpful.

A Few Tunes I've Just Piced Up
Know and have the last 3. You paid about the going rate as they are all cheapies, but they are all excellent records IMO.

Trading Standards
Ebay were also involved on a test court case last year after they prevented people from selling promos. Ebay lost the case and now allows promo copies of records and CDs to be sold. So I don't think the STO was correct to prevent you from selling these items

Capreez "how To Make A Sad Man Glad" Sound
Hi all, recent car boot finds included Capreez "How to make a sad man glad" on Sound (red label). I'm guessing it's a boot, but am not sure. Can anyone tell me how to tell the boot from an original? TIA

Ebay Bootleggers 84 Items Now
A friend bought one of the A La Carte CDs. Only to find it was not only a boot, but many of the tracks were of such poor quality they sounded as though they were simply recorded by someone standing in front of a speaker!

Info Needed On Lps Please
Sorry if my prices seemed a little low, however I've sold all the above for the prices shown within the last year, and I thought I was offering a fair price. The Tempests turns up all the time and is certainly not a rare album, more a case of supply and demand I imagine. Also, in the current climate, I wouldn't expect top prices for stuff at the moment.

Awesome sound. The full length version is only available on the LP (great album too). Boobie Knight And The Universal Lady 45S On Dakar
"Somebody touch me" was an Italian picture sleeve on Brunswick, it also saw US issue on Dakar as noted, however I've only seen promos (with "Somebody.." on both sides. Both tracks of this 45 appear on his rare Dakar LP. Also, I only know of promos of 4543. Yes, it is Boobie Knight.
