Tell The Truth Does Anyone Buy Blind Amymore?
slightly off topic but I also watch loads of stuff in my ebay that I don't know just to see what kind of values they sell for. see some huge differences between one copy and the next as well.

Tell The Truth Does Anyone Buy Blind Amymore?
got 2 great 45s by marcus daniel one on plaza and one on monkey town. Unknown to me at the time I bid although I suspect fairly well known 45s to others. I was the only bidder on each at $20 a piece. had quite a few duff ones as well. Something by the wrong chosen few which turned out to be a terrible pop song

Barbara & Browns
a great soul artists some real gems to listen to.

Water Damaged Records
would make it far worse IMO leave it exactly as it is.

Water Damaged Records
I baught gene cooper on dada with a badly damaged label. I'll try and sell it if I ever find one with a clean label that plays as well as the copy I have.
-
Water Damaged Records
how rare the record is must also be a factor. if its almost impossible to find then you would still get a good price IMO.

Bobby Womack - A Soul Storyteller, At Home In The Hall
Janis Joplin was riding in BW's mercedes benz when she had the inspiration for one of her songs.

J Manship Auction Prices 1st April
yes so am I ?? possibly more than one copy of JR as well... i've always thought JR is due a big price increase as its one of the best out and out stompers there is IMO. but this could just be one expensive copy and others will still be much less. the rare TA must be "baby i'm lost" on spindletop backed with a nice sweet soul track.

Soul Experience On Smoke ?
"whose lips" is the killer side on this 45 for me also. Other side just OK similar style but doesn't quite have the magic.
-
Natural Impulse

-
Soul Experience On Smoke ?
I would want over 100 quid prehaps quite a bit more for mine as its far to rare and good to be valued at 30 quid. but i'm not selling

Kellee Paterson I'm Gonna Love You Just A Little Bit More
sorry not yet. You should easily get one for the price you are prepared to pay its very fair.

Kellee Paterson I'm Gonna Love You Just A Little Bit More

Sea Shells On Ebay
quality. never mind... the sites that tell you number of users watching a 45 sound good. Could do with a link to one of those. but probably a lot of people just watching out of curiosity and a small number of bidders i'd say. like the matues 45 in my watched items.
-
Sea Shells On Ebay
you'll have to run with a load of different user id's and several different ISP addresses.... something like the seashells is never going to slip under the radar though is it ? to well known and add the fact it was moerer selling it.

Bargain Record Boxes
think I may have just got the last one

Jms Finishing Prices Today?
Jeter Davis on Sunbelt looks like a fair price to me. Great record.

When Constitutes A Cheap, Or Expensive Record?
you'd also be a bit of a lightweight. 20 quid only buys about 5 or 6 pints these days its outrageous. probably about 3 pints in scandanavia.

Best Online Radio Show?
jasons annual show from carolinas, boba, paul collins on solar radio a few i've realy enjoyed to name 3 and the shows larry grogan puts up on his blog prehaps not all soul but a great mix of music. no doubt missed plenty of other great stuff.

Northern Soul Snob's
I agree with the sentiment here. but if I go out (which isn't that often these days) I want to hear the best rarest soul music there is. I want to be educated and hear things I don't know that have that magic about them. Which inevitably ends up being expensive. Que the coments about loads of great cheap records...... trading up could be one way of working towards getting these tunes like this without spending huge amounts of cash but that would takes a huge amount of time and effort. Years and years in fact.
