  8. Once upon a time I don't think many people even thought about DJing, never entered your head. That was something left to people with donkeys years of experience, collections with real depth and access to stuff no one else had. People you looked up to because of their knowledge and the leg work they'd put in. We all just turned up and danced our arses off, maybe buying the odd cheap thing to buzz off at home until you got to the next nighter to do the same again. It was different and exclusive and exciting. The scene misses those focal points and that sense of loving it for what it is and how it made you feel, as opposed to what it does for a few egos. Any amount of third rate or tired records being played by wannabes in half empty rooms every weekend. Why ffs?
  9. Absolutely gutted, as will be anyone and everyone who knew Mick. A genuinely lovely bloke; I'll miss him a lot x

Every single record is an absolute winner, no stocking fillers! £215 + post for the lot. No offers ta (It works out at about £13.50 each which, overall, is giving them away IMHO so you could always sell them on if that's your bag). The MPG is a great shout, some phenomenal dancers on it! So many relatively untapped things tucked away on Motown LPs: the aforementioned, Temps (take your pick), Gladys Knight, Chuck Jackson, Monitors etc etc. Fish n barrels.
