Remember getting a copy of L.J.Johnson on an emidisc before it got released and spending a full Sunday morning at work knocking up a 20th Century Label (because I was told that's what it was coming out on ! ) (work in graphic design but in those days it was Letraset & Cameras , no computers then matey!) Memories hey! then it came out on another 'kin label was it Phillips ???? Cheers Swifty

Just bought a copy of L.J.REYNOLDS - ALL I NEED - BLACK LADY BL033 which arrived this morning. It actually has ALL I NEED on both sides, now the seller did mention this but just wondered if anyone else has this on both sides? It has the same Label/Song both sides but the others I've seen have COOKING WITH NIXON on the other side. The Label is Green and there is no mention of it being a demo or Promo copy. Any Ideas ? Awesome LP remember buying it with Jay & The Techniques LP on Phillips UK (I Think) for about 1 packet of crisps & a big bottle of cherryade ! Actually we used to send people into town (and pay them a couple of No.6 to nick things to order) but when one came back with 200quids worth of Record Vouchers and loads of Cards to stick 'em in I collected my best ever UK album Collection (Until the Police came ) but I've still got em ! Swifty (Ex Criminal) and it is wrong to do things like that but it wasn't then ! (PC Correct now ! )

Pete , ever wondered how much money's worth has passed through your hands ? even I've had a few quids worth over the years but back in the old days had no idea what prices some of the old soul pack stuff now fetches . My ex missus nagged me to death about having records all over the place that one day I just collected up all the slow stuff (now called Xover!) put it in a bin liner and dumped it at the local tip (Daft Tw*t !) I even used 50 records as invites for my lads first disco party, just printed up some labels at work and stuck them on 50 random records to give to his mates ! Happy Days eh! p.s. wish i had a record box like that Cheers Swifty

Noticed this the other day and thought it looked too Pink but sometimes a scanner does change the colour but it all looks too new (allegedly, in case I get sued) , so are we saying this isn't an original of the first issue ? Swifty
