On a side note, something i noticed down the years is some people will dance to literally anything, if a dj mistakenley plays a flipside thats unremotely Soul they,ll just carry on dancing. (nothing wrong with that suppose) but just an observation, its also quite funny watching people spin or do acrobatics completely out of synch to records theyve never heard before.. but if there enjoying themselves thats all that matters. Always remember a guy came upto our table at a Soul Night a few years back singing loudly Talk to me Talk to me, whilst Sue Lynn was playing..I,didnt have the heart to tell him it was "Dont Pity me..which i did.

It can be a little confusing, turning up in a strange town in the pitch black in the middle of the night ,then reappearing into the brightness the next morning full of pharmacueticals, it plays tricks on your memory i found 🤣

Hope its not just a classic after all this, else we,re all gonna look awfully silly 😂

In my case if i,m desperate for a record yes, i have bought records and still do in poor condition if playable (without skips) if i really want it, i wouldnt buy an unplayable record or distorted, tho some people do, i once sold a Sam Williams on Tower that was awfully distorted for little money and the buyer was highly delighted so there is definatley a market for them althought a limited one.

I should imagine it depends on rarity and demand, personally i sometimes buy records in that condition just to own them, be nice to upgrade Gloria Hill on Deep but thats different story.
