Just a heads up!!! Some of the 365soul.com presenters are getting together tomorrow Monday 28th December 2015 from midday til 8pm to throw out some Soulful tunes across the board. As its my "21st" Birthday the Liquorice Soulsorts spot 2pm till 3pm will,consist of Beat Ballads & 60ts Xover instead of across the board as the show normally is. So I have dug out some Rare and not so rare tunes for any of you that cares to listen via the Internet. Bugger.... Still not managed to pick one up and dipped out again today... That's 4 through ebay, I think, this year,with one a couple of days ago going for £803 and one today for £518.73. suppose will have to live with my demo 45 for a little while longer........or up me game! slightly miffed......Dave H.

That's really sad news, Collectively The Impressions are one of my all time favourite groups having had some great talent within their lineup So sad. RIP.

Roburt thanks for that info. It is defo not a Coxone as have that and mine doesn't have the the same run out groove ref! Thought about Studio one but what is left of the labels are a green/black colour similar to a couple,of Wirl labels, throw in the Wirl in the run out groove I am just assuming it is from that label. Think I should check out any label discogs to see if anything matchs? cheers Dave

Got the Coxsone issue, but what's left of the label colour and it has Wirl scratched into run out groove leads me to believe it's Wirl, unless someone knows better? not noticed that either, suspect it's from the label above it when manufactured?

Odd one this but need full label scans only of the following if possible. Wirl. Jackie Opel - Eternal love and Cry me a river. Need both sides as the labels are water damaged beyond reading. also Cautions - Is it right. Shrine (missing label) these are are for personal use and not bothered if black and white (would prefer colour) even though they are going on ORIGINAL vinyl . I am not wanting to deceive anyone even when/if I part with them. thanks Dave Halsall

Still got a copy from back in the day, if memory serves me right Southport ,Formby, Ormskirk Soul lads feature in pics, Macca and John in there. Longtime ago now, I was just a lad, but Macca was defo The Soulboy in his day.
