Value? Kiki Dee - Magic Carpet Ride
Yes Pete, a bit creepy. You should lay off the cheese before bedtime!! ("come with me, come and see all the wonders there will be in my stories in my songs......tum tum tum" - sweet dreams)

Value? Kiki Dee - Magic Carpet Ride
No Pete, It's a single sided one of the song "I". The scan is in post #12. I also got the standard 45 of "I" in the same pack. (p.s. - is your new picture the Pied Piper? "come with me, come and see, all the wonders...)

Value? Kiki Dee - Magic Carpet Ride
I know Pete, think I live in the same world as you re prices. Thats why I asked 'cause I was surprised at recent values. The prices seem to be "all over the place like a a mad womans draws" on this one . (no offence intended to any ladies who may or may not be suffering from bouts of temporary insanity resulting in random episodes of misplaced underwear). I'll have a think about it and may put it up for offers

Wish you hadn't said that, I've gone all hungry now and only an apple within easy access!! Apple or Bacon sandwich......not much competition there.

Value? Kiki Dee - Magic Carpet Ride
Thanks for the replys. I was a bit confused as there's been a few on popsike in the £250 - £300 region and one in March 2013 for £360. Also saw a "Want" on here offering £250 with a reply asking £275 with Joe Dunlop popping up saying he would BUY at £275!! I've picked this up with a few others of her's including an Acetate of "I" dated 19.5.67 with an Oxford Street W 1 address. While I don't normaly sell anything (even if I have it a couple of times!!) a couple of bits have come up for sale which are expensive and I fancy havng a go at!

What's Your Favourite Soul 'spine-Tingler'?
Posse - Evil. Great intro and the rest is pretty good. Also, still love the Tomangoes even after hearing it a million times.

Value? Kiki Dee - Magic Carpet Ride
Hi Folks, While it's not everyones taste, what is the general opinion on the value of Kiki Dee - On a Magic Carpet Ride - Fontana, near mint as can be? Is there much demand? Last copy I saw on eBay was from a link in the eBay sales on this site - was quite surprised!!!!!! Also, are any of her other 60's Fontana 45s valuable/collectable/desirable Any info welcome. Cheers Kev Bod

Emi Labels Listimg, Soul Supply, Discoteque 66,67
Hi Dave, Have a look at this site. I've copied 2 links, 1 for Disco 66/67 series and 1 for Soul Supply series. I can't confirm how complete or accurate it is, but does look pretty good. I'm not sure who "martin" is or if he's a member on this site. All the best Kev Bodley https://martinsbox.tripod.com/id39.htm https://martinsbox.tripod.com/id52.htm

Gil Scott Heron - Lady Day
I've just scanned both sides of both discs. Lady Day a great record. Just come out on KENT!! I didn't realise that it was sufficiently in demand to be worth re-issuing. Cheers Kev Bod

Eddie Parker - Love You Baby Demo
Hi Phil, Any input welcome. It's one that's in collections but doesn't circulate that often IMO. Last one I saw for sale was on Tim Browns auction. Before that there was one one here at a set sale price. People's taste's, priorities and circumstances change over time and hopefully I can help someone who wants to swap that particular bid of old plastic for some cash!! Not seen any others recently though - so any info/leads greatfully received. Cheers Kev Bodley

Two Step - What Is It?
Often wondered about this myself. Often used in sales...."great two stepper..". I'd agree it's the sort of this you might like to listen to but not sure of how it's fits in if played at a Norther Soul type venue. I have this record, a nice cheapo, and have always assumed it fitted the description. Currently £15 on JM site. Moses - Sweetest Love https://youtu.be/lEk3So5rLeA

Benny Sigler - How Much
Pat Brady had one on his auction recently. I missed the final value. Doesn't seem to crop up on a regualr basis. Never seen a proper ISSUE, only demo's. Are there any original vinyl issues about?

Customs Charges From Outside Eu
Just checked a few old mailers in the garage. When they have a value, I seem to have had mainly $5 gifts!!! Hadn't noticed before. I'd assumed that no value was declared when a gift. Cheers Jon. KB (p.s. - you a cyclist?)

Price Please - Kenny Smith - Gar Stock Copy
Thanks for that George, Were there any other records on the Goldspot label? Also, always sruck me as an odd design. It's my understanding that on some American 45s, a "blob" of gold paint was used to indicate a "deleted/returned" record, a bit like the drilled hole. Loads of copies of The Steinways 45 on Oliver have this. So havng a label that looked like it was deleted from day one was crazy!! Of course, I may be talking complete rubbish as usual. Cheers

Price Please - Kenny Smith - Gar Stock Copy
Very interesting this. One of my favorite records. I have a Goldspot one. To me the Goldspot version sound a little less "slick". The GAR one being more polished. In a similar way to the Natual Four - "I though you were mine" - Boola Boola and ABC versions. Personaly, I'd have thought the more polished version came second. I like both and would buy Pete's if I hadn't spent enough this month!! (and last month, and the month before, and.........) Here's a link I came across that lists Ohio Soul.
