wolvessoul 0 Posted October 11, 2017 our first visit, coming up from the midlands, save us a seat !!!!!!!! Link to comment
Denbo 715 Posted October 11, 2017 You need to get there 10 to 15 minutes before 3pm to stand a chance of getting a seat, supply is limited and demand is great. There is a 'Chill Out' area round the back, where you can still hear what's getting played, for further seats that don't get snapped up straight off. Link to comment
Denbo 715 Posted October 13, 2017 Right, all records ready and packed for The Sink on Sunday, including a few I picked up in America over the previous three weeks. I hear the weather's going to be quite warm this weekend so sounds like it might be a hot one. Get there early if you need a table and seat. Otherwise, there's the 'chill-out' area to the rear of the venue where you can chat and perhaps buy and sell a few records if you're of the collector persuasion. I might have a small Sales box if I'm able to sort it in time. Failing that, Ian Dunning will be there with his amazing box of cheap and cheerful 45s. I say that with total respect as I've had a bargain or two from him over the years that I've not seen anywhere else since. Everybody PLEASE NOTE, there are no trains into Lime Street over this weekend and the next few weeks whilst the station receives a bit of a refurb and an extra line installed. The trains will terminate at some point, Huyton I believe, whereupon a bus service into the City centre will take over. We hope this does not inconvenience you all too much but hope it will not put you off attending. See you all Sunday. Link to comment
