Could we just emphasise that Orrell St James is a strictly NO TALC venue, last time we had individuals throwing the stuff around and as a result we had the management moaning at us. This could result in us losing the venue if it continues, please ensure that you wear proper dancing shoes and we will make sure that the dancefloor is cleaned and polished ready for Saturday night. Thank you, see you tomorrow. Link to comment
SOULMAN62 111 Posted September 8, 2017 To be honest brooksey you had the opportunity, to stop the individual throwing talc on the floor as the tub was on the stage in front all to see. Link to comment

I didn't actually see who put the talc on the floor, it was pointed out to me by someone else. As soon as I knew I went over and picked up the talc bottle but it was nearly empty by then anyway. As I said its not us who decides the rules, it's the club management--personally I don't care if people use talc but they do. Anyway, as long as people know not to use it in future that's fine by us.
