Whats the best way to post LP/12" to European Countries with some sort of insurance?

Thanks Chris.

Airsure is best, only available to 30 countries though. Costs an additional £4.50 on top of normal airmail. You get online tracking and full delivery confirmation to the doorstep. Covers for up to £500.

International Signed For delivery, available to all countries. At the post office ask for International Signed For Small Packets or they sometimes try and charge you Airmail Letter rate which is more expensive. Costs an additional £3.70 on top of normal airmail. Only gets a signature once it's delivered and is only trackable in the UK. Automatically covers for up to £39 compensation, or you can pay another £2.20 to get insurance for up to £500.

If it's EBay and Pay Pal related, opt for Airsure if available. Make sure insurance is adequate because if it gets lost in the post and you make a claim with Royal Mail, you have to print out invoices and pay pal payment page to prove value. If the value on the invoice is more than what you have insured it for, Royal Mail are likely to throw your claim out because you've under insured.
