i believe back in its day that Betty Lloyd was a real cheapie - think i heard you could pick it up in any sales box at wigan for a tenner?

cheapest i ever saw betty lloyd it was in dave withers box around 83-ish in afflecks palace manchester - think he had £150 on it then!

didnt sid jones secure a betty lloyd at a weekended a few years ago for £30 out oif a random sales box?

John Doe records, or who ever those guys were used to have Betty Lloyd in early 9ts at £60 on their list as they found that batch of them...

I reckon Clar Hardy will rise in value, its a very good track what ever the price...

Hi Mal - John Doe records was actually Dave Raistrick (ex Vinyl Allsorts) of Grantham. Used to buy from him regularly as his stock was always very reasonably priced.

As far as I know John Doe of Betty Lloyd fame is actually Dave Withers. His prices looked good because other dealers were unreasonably priced.

Also think the original quantity that's been found has dried up now. As Gene said there'll still be some on dealer lists, but I think it'd be wise to secure a copy now if you want it...

mine's still wet from all the crying i did over it, when i realised my 400 quid, wasn't the bargain I thought I'd got....I now look in the ten dollar area for my records
