I'm sure I used to have a record by the wonderfully named - DAVID AND THE FOUR SKINS

was it HEATWAVE (as Vandellas) or am I in need of pyschiatric (spelling ?) help :yes:

I was in High School with the bass player when he formed the band with some older kids. They were located in Davis, California. Later, to chase commercial success, they were The Skins. They were more popular with us kids than their contemporary local group, Blue Cheer.
