£117 For Eddie Parker Pressing On Ebay,is This A World Record?

couldn't believe my eyes when a copy of eddie parker im gone on awake pressing i put on ebay just kept on going up and up eventually selling for £117,just wondered if any other boots or pressings have sold for similar silly prices? thought it might be worthy of discussion.

I mentioned it last week just as it was ending, someone else said they had the same pressing and it didn't make £20!

Tomagoes I Really Love You second press has jumped in price. Sold two copies recently one went for £62 the other £40 ish just goes to show the fluctuating prices of reissues in the strange Northern Soul world :rolleyes:

Gloria Jones "tainted Love" Red Boot £52.00

Detroit Soul Lookalike Boot (the other two are obvious boots but this one i even mentioned in add!!)............£94!!

£561 is the highest paid for a boot so it got some way to go yet.:D .

The Trends on ABC, a thread in "Look At Your Box" - a boot fetched $267 which at the time was £170 - £180. :swoon:

I can only presume the buyer thought it an original.

I hope he got a refund.

Hi Glyn, but this is madness, i just cannot rationalise this sort of crazed buying.....i mean it's not an original.............more fool the buyers i say, it's akin to buying chicory and serving it as the finest Columbian bean..............excl.gif
