Not the ones run by Alex (Southport)

At a guess I would say 1999 or 2000?

I met my good lady in August 1999 and I am 99% certain we blagged our way in to the Cala Gran for the sunday evening session that year. We live in Blackpool so it was handy for a night out.

Yes I think you are right.

I think the 1st one was in Sept, then they seen to get later every year.

The last one was in 2005 in the middle of Nov.

There was one in March as well one year 2003 I think.

1998. Brenda Holloway appeared Live. Patti Austin was scheduled but pulled out due to a more lucrative Jazz gig in the Carribean.

We were shocked she chose the warmth of the Sun over Fleetwood.

I think you could be on the money with this Mick!! seem to recall Malc getting a Sunday free bee and selling a few 45's !!
