November 6, 201014 yr look at download sites mate-aint got a link just watched it on sky its a 2008 film about leaonard chess with beyonce etc and its deffo worth a watch imho-some great performances indeed IMHO. hi any chance of a link for the cadallac records, thanks.

Malc Missed the first showing so thanks for the info Malc,while i'm on this subject years ago there was a doc about Curtis Mayfield on Omnibus i think.I remember Jerry Butler walking into a record store while being interviewed,anyone remember it and is it still viewable anywhere? Cheers Steve. Yes, it was in the Omnibus series- 'Darker than Blue' with the writer Caryl Phillips. Mixture of interviews with Curtis and other luminaries, plus archive stuff. It was a great programme, which I had on tape for a few years, but sadly no more. No idea how you could get to see it these days, short of contacting the BBC. Or, long shot, but could try Caryl Phillips' website. Link below. If you have any luck, I'd be interested to know. Would love to watch it again. Caryl Phillips

Cheers Steve. The CM Omnibus documentary surfaced on an unofficial DVD around three / four years ago . I bought a copy and after watching it , passed it on . November 8, 201014 yr So looking forward to this. I hope that Mick H is on for a short block of time rather than regular snippets then I can fastforward while he's pontificating. He soiled the Bobby Bland documentary in my unbiased view. Great stuff.....................I'll definitely be watching!!!
