Soulbluesmusic.com said he died on Friday, such a loss, I love his work and he was still releasing CD's till last year.

He was a charming bloke who I spoke to when we realised the You Gotta Have Soul unreleased Goldwax track wasn't by the writer George Jackson but by Lee who signed a deal with Goldwax when he was visiting in Memphis. You Hurt Me So Good was a great unissued flip too.
