November 21, 200519 yr Hi Marc, the beauty of this scene is the diversity of peoples tastes, i could care less if i ever heard this record again, don't get me wrong as an impressionable 17 year old in 1981 i used to rush with fervour onto the wonderful wooden herringbone floor at Clifton Hall when Richard Searling would delight the faithful with this 45'.......... But today it no longer holds the awe it once did for me.......i put this to listening and developing my personal tastes over these last 25 years. It isn't a question of whether i am right or wrong.....it is just a case of personal feeling toward certain records. Brett....... ps I am not saying i advocate Alcohol,Drugs and Violence...but they have always worked for me.

Yesterday, today or tomorrow.... this will always be a "class" piece of vinyl to drop on the decks.... full stop .... But like you say.... each to their own and all that....

Tubbs My theory is Johnny Madship got "mad" at TB's infantile comments about JM's auction listing a counterfeit so everyone knew what the DIFF was, before he listed the REAL one. So what does he do, he pulls another original out the bag or box or from under the bed... touche, like his style!! I'm sure gonna go for the one that starts @ £1.00 minimum. Last copy sold for well over 2k cause i got well beat on it. Ironically wasn't TB amoungst the gullable who bought a counterfeit for lotsa £££ when they were first presented..ouch!!

November 22, 200519 yr I "found" Charles Diamond of the Inspirations a couple of years ago, his wife said they were still in touch with John Hendley, I just wonder if he supplied the records. I probably told someone and they ended up with the records no doubt.
