Yeah I've got one - why don't you tell everyone it's a bootleg?

I don't know the record but it sounds great. What was it originally released on?

I assume (hope) that you are joking. Am I correct?

same label Den, but it's The Servicemen

But the label colouring is quite different. The green has a lot more grey in it, and the font wasn't yellow, but black. The font was different, as well. The boot doesn't look all that much like on original, even from a distance.

I asked the seller about it and this is the response

"I just read up about it today on soul source & they were saying that it was made in the 70's in England & all the guys would spin this because they didn't know the servicemen ,someone pressed it as the magicians .so it is a 2nd but for some reason it goes for alot for a boot , on popsike they go between $30 - $200 & change ..ian

So I requested the description should be changed to state it is a "2nd" (bootleg)

it sold for $577 dollars because dick head who won the auction doesn't know its a boot.

I could care less really, but the seller was selling the item as it was, he never mentioned it was the Servicemen, it states clearly the Magicians, most boots etc do pretend to be the same (artist, title etc) yes perhaps unethical, but the buyer should know his/her stuff, if i'm going to buy an expensive record, i'll make sure as much as i can, that i know it's authenticity. It reminds me of the old scam from years back small adds in newspapers for ' Brass Wooden Coat Hook, hangar '...Apparently when they were posted it was just a piece of wood with several brass screws as hooks...

Not sure what I sold my boot copy for £10 think, is this genuine naievity for over £300.
