Mike Posted September 14, 2003 Share Posted September 14, 2003 Guy passed on that the first "No More Doggin" soul event at Rangers Club, Loughborough Road, Thringstone (Nr Coalville), Leics was a good one Featuring himself and Pete Coulson as guest djs and a whole batch of local djs. Guest Posted October 23, 2003 Share Posted October 23, 2003 There has now been two nights at 'No more Doggin' which have been a breath of fresh air..I along with my buddy Steve Tuck have been privileged to DJ early doors on both occasions. The policy at 'No more Doggin' is underplayed ,obscure and rare 60,s Soul & R&B ...The venue itself is ideal..good dancefloor,record room..cheap bar,good seating and it situated right next to the M1 Junc.23. Guests so far have been Guy Hennigan,Pete Coulson,Carl Willingham,Mick H (Nottingham) ..regulars are Simon Hunt,Rob Gray,Kev Connellan and ourselves Oggie & Steve (The Melton Mafia)...The next night is SATURDAY NOVEMBER 8th with special guest MARK BICKNELL ..for more info ,reviews etc go to nomoredogginsoul@aol.com Oggie.
