No, only a U.S. demo in my experience.

And yes. I can remember Levine playing it first @ the Mecca, several times over a number of weeks. I think it's fair to say that the record spouted controversy from the start - "too gimmicky", "crap", "a pop record" etc, etc.

Never took off and didn't last long in reality......

Levine played it like a follow up to Commodores - The Zoo. That was a monster record (for about two weeks) but Human jungle barely lasted two minutes

I like it too Mark ..and when it goes on facebook it seems many do .... thought about re mastering it because the Tarzan call could easy be looped out with another section ... just another project on a shelf .. I have it on Roulette Demo .. never seen an issue apart from the disco demand stuff..

I thought Human Jungle was played a lot more than folks remember on here.Unless its just one of those tunes that stuck in my psyche.

I just remember Ian Levine trying it at Mecca once and it not going anywhere. I think that was back in 74. Maybe someone else tried it later

Used to have it also , in my Roulette Demo collecting days , quite liked it to be honest ! Never seen an issue though
