how strange i only got all my old memberships out of the box where they have been for the last 10 yrs +. this morning.

Sold all my patches at luton record fair about the same time scale.

casino 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 6th aniversary £15 each

whitchurch all dayer £10. 

 

the first two were not aquired until about 1973 and were given to me in return for a couple of tapes of my records, i was 15 at the time

That first lot, I literally found those this afternoon in a little red box, I knew I'd got them but didn't know where they were, found by accident in the garage.

Paul, if I honestly knew I would be happy to but this is not my field of expertise, someone's offered me £125 for the lot but someone else said I should be looking at at least double that, so I think it's looking like an Ebay job...see what you mean though, if you re-frame it all, it would look nice

Hi we're the Miracles on oriole records nr mint co.

Some of those patches have sold well into double figure. Some Wigan patches fetched around £40 a piece recently. Te Ritz patch if same as mine I got £14 I think. Even basic Soul Together and Soul Manchester patches I got around a tenner so £125 is way off the mark Pete. Without looking deeper I would say double that would still be on the cheap side.

If you're going to auction for 20 days, you may as well ask JM to sell them as a "bumper fun pack". You could even sign a letter of "authenticity" as to their origin
