As I dont do Facebook and I know Andy got a mention today I thought I would give him a mention on here.
Cant believe its 15 years since Andy's tragic accident on 07/08/1999. He was a very close friend for years, his passion for soul was huge and he loved DJing as much as currys. Andy had a motorcycle accident after DJing with his best mate John Poole at the Hollingwood hotel in Chesterfield for Rob Wiggley.
Most of my vinyl collection came via Andy and John, two of the records I never got chance to thank him for or pay him (Velvet Hammer - Frankie & Johnny)
If hey was around today to see how the scene has gone internet mad, world wide interest and a weekender every weekend he would be in his element.
