After reading the Motown thread..I wondered what people's favourite new tune of 2015 is..Leon Bridges track "River" has to be up there for me...anyone any tunes they would like to share..any sneaky soulful garage piece out there people might have missed or some B side piece of magic??  :)

That indeed is a slice of top quality soul music.....

 

This cam out in January. Lots of other great tracks have been released since but this not bettered yet imo

I got sent this over the weekend by Ed who sings leads vocals. It's part of an album that's been produced by Jon Fine (he directed the Bill withers documentary). That's due to be released Sept/Oct on vinyl. The first single is called Africa Calling and the artist is The Holy Forest. https://theholyforest.com/category/video/

That's a great track Roual. Nice video too.

Written by UK song writer Ron Roker (Guilty/The Pearls and First Choice, Stone cold love affair/The Real Thing, Do you believe in love at first sight/Polly Browne and Dionne Warwick) and performed by Diane Shaw. Recorded in the UK in Manchester (area). The whole album is top: -
