Oh no, really is sad news this weekend 

I received this news in my email from Daptone earlier today.  Was Charles sick?  I can't believe Daptone lost their two biggest stars in less than a year.

I too saw him at Koko and at a few festivals over the years and always delivered !

Awful news.   A ‘genuine’ soul in body and spirit you gave to many. 

Forever remembered in the hearts (and play boxes) of the few.

Heartaches and pain , great soul from a great artiste 

RIP Charles. Hopefully there's one more album waiting to come out. The music was worth waiting for.
