Was at a do last night and this got spun - never heard it before and had only heard the Funk Bros. instrumental version years ago which I still love

It went down surprisingly well

Does anybody else spin anything by him ?

  • Someone getting desperate, I'd rather hear the Supremes than this or anything by Sandy Nelson.

  • Thanks for the replies so far .. Seen this on the Sold on Soul Lp that Searling did in the 70s  Never heard it played out though must be a Casino spin

  • I thought this was an old wheel sound?   Ed

The only one in my collection that is by him is this (although my copy is on the united artists label)

Stuff like this puts me tight off , maybe it should be put in the “current state of the scene” thread , hearing shite like this is why I don’t go anymore , that and listening to folk who had a 20-30 year “break” now djing telling us how it is , over and out .
